Every man wants to last and to have the strongest erection possible during sex but many guys suffer from less than desirable erections. Most guys put their confidence and their self-worth into the same equation and expect their bodies to be at peak performance levels at all times. But is that realistic? Probably not. However, if you are truly concerned about the quality of your erection and you honestly want to improve your sex life then there are a few steps you can take to do so without harming your body or investing in long-term products.
Unfortunately, what we eat and consume directly affects how our body performs in all circumstances. We cannot expect our body to stay at peak levels if we do nothing but consume Doritos and Pepsi all day. You have to stay active and you have to give your body the nutrients that it requires to perform at its best. In order to do this you may need to make dietary changes. Diets high in fat and sugar leave the body feeling physically exhausted and do not give you the strength you need to be your best. Throw out the potato chips and the cupcakes and replace them with bananas and eggs. This change may be all you need to enhance the quality of your erection.
Drinking too much and smoking cigarettes directly affects your sexual performance. If you spend most of your weeknights and weekend nights at the bar drinking beer after beer your erection may very well be negatively affected. It is well known that alcohol slows the body down and also leads to a flaccid penis. Excessive drinking along with cigarette smoking as well reduces your body’s ability to circulate blood naturally and with ease. Obviously, blood circulation is directly related to erections so if you find yourself struggling to get as hard as you like you may want to take a closer look at your lifestyle habits.
Once again exercise comes into the equation. Exercising on a regular basis contributes to blood circulation and also releases hormones in the brain that increase your sex drive and testosterone levels. Testosterone in turn makes you stronger and last longer in the bedroom. Make it your goal to get exercise at least three times weekly for between 30 to 60 minutes a day to achieve the greatest result and to improve the quality of your erection. Lifting weights in combination with cardio exercises is the best way to get your blood flowing and to release the hormones that you need to improve your sexual performance.
Although most men believe that masturbation is a good way to keep their penis strong, in reality it can have the reverse effect if you are suffering from poor quality erections. Try to reduce or cut back on the amount of masturbation you do. This will give your body a break and will also increase your sex drive. Obviously, some masturbation is good for you and natural but it you are masturbating more than once a day or even more than three times a week you may be directly impacting the quality of your erections in the bedroom.
